The academic side of my work comprises several areas related to teaching and research. In addition to this I am an editorial board member of the Journal of Specialised Translation (JoSTrans) and the journal Current Trends in Translation Teaching and Learning. In 2008 I was asked to be guest editor of JoStrans to produce a special issue dealing with technical translation.

On top of this I have performed various other activities and roles for professional and academic publications, i.e. founding editor, guest editor, member of editorial boards, peer review and layout/DTP and I have provided expert assessments for companies and universities.
